Even in a Bad Economy, When You're Short on Dough, You can Still Go to the O
My face book page is littered with comments about me going to the Olympia. Many of them share the same sentiment - they all wished they could go. While some aspects of feasibility know no bounds, the great limiting factor for many these days is that they think a trip to Vegas to attend the Olympia Weekend is a frivolous and expensive exercise in wretched excess, especially in the current economic climate. Well, I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to be. And I'm going to prove it. In true Romano form, this year I shrugged off press passes, company airfare, and free hotel rooms, rolled up my sleeves and went like a regular guy paying my own way to show to all of you that you can go to the Olympia, take advantage of all the weekend has to offer, and not break the bank.
I was a little disappointed this month that there were far fewer entries than last month. I guess I bitched and moaned too much about how so many people didn't follow the rules which caused me to disqualify their essays. I can understand how you guys might feel, but you have to look at it from my perspective. If I can't read your entry or your name isn't on the entry, what do you expect me to do? Come on; I'm not asking for anything too far-fetched. I hope to receive more entries next month. The SPECIES NUTRITION prize pack is pretty sweet, and having your essay published is on the front page of RX Muscle means it's going to be seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
What's up Rxmuscle.com? I'm back from my month long vacation. Really not much of a vacation but I'm well rested and ready to pick up where I left off. As most of you may have read, I was moved from Westchester County Jail to a Federal prison. It's better here in some way but it does have drawbacks. Club Fed it's not! Listen up; I'm gonna tell you the difference between the county and federal jails that I've experienced and my "move" from one to the other.
Editors Note (Big Sean Andros): Week after week you've gotten to read my predictions and previews for the ladies side of the sport and occasionally I throw some insight into the men (if you can call it insight). This week's Europa Super Show in Dallas is shaping up the be the premier event of the summer and Rx Muscle will be providing the most in-depth coverage of any media outlet out there (CHECK BACK TO RX MUSCLE ALL WEEKEND FOR UP-TO-THE SECOND RESULTS, PLAY BY PLAY, PHOTOS, AND VIDEOS). To get things started on the right foot, I was able to twist the arm of the one and only Dave Palumbo to offer his pre-show commentary on some of the key athletes competing in the Mens Under-202.
Hello again everyone from my secluded paradise. Ha-Ha-sounded good - right? Secluded, yes - paradise, not so much but I always try to make the best out of a shitty situation. As you all know, I don't have access to any weights in here so this month I'll be talking about my interesting workout routine. Believe it or not, I won't be able to fit all my jailhouse routines into one article so this will be Part 1 of 4 - hell, it might even be a 5-part series. I think everyone out there will find these workouts very different from anything they have seen before. I'm not going to talk about push-ups and pull-ups or basic calisthenics. We all know about those and if you don't then you probably shouldn't be on this site. This is Rx Muscle where it's about hardcore training and learning things about bodybuilding that no other site can teach you.
