For some of us, our love affair with the sport doesn’t appear as love at first sight. Instead, our adventure through the industry is a much more gradual process. First, an idea becomes planted in our subconscious like a seed. Over time, our thoughts nourish that seed as it begins to take root until one day it becomes a fully formed miracle of nature – and our tiny little idea has matured and manifested itself has a career in the industry.

I’d like you to do something. For a moment, close your eyes and think back to junior high and high school. Try to remember how exciting life was during that time. During those years it seems like each day brings us a new experience. From the pep rallies and prom dates, to the late nights with foggy details and questionable decision making, those years and those moments become etched in our minds, and we often cherish them as some of our fondest memories. It’s that cornucopia of experiences that become the bricks and mortar of our adult personalities, forming the foundation of who we’ll become.

Vlad Petric Has His Sights Set on NPC Nationals!
Someone once said, “We measure success by met expectations.” If that happens to be the case, the budding bodybuilding career of Vlad Petric has been a resounding success thus far. If winning the novice division at the always competitive NPC Atlantic States in 2012 in his first ever competition wasn’t impressive enough, Vlad followed that up by winning his class just one week later at the NPC Garden State.

I first met Phillip-Michael Williams at Powerhouse Gym East Lansing. I was there with a friend of mine who was shooting Phillip and his longtime training partner, NPC Physique Competitor Logan Barnhart. I was very impressed with his look and his attention to detail during training.
